What is included for $100 a month?

One live class a week, about four a month, all recorded and kept, plus the parent desk and their portfolio page. Photography & Video meets Thursdays at 12:00 PM Eastern. S’Cool Studio meets Mondays at 3:00 PM Eastern. Take both classes and it is $160 a month instead of $200, the founding rate for the first 10 families.

Do we have to take both classes?

No. Pick Photography & Video, pick S’Cool Studio, or take both. Taking both adds $60 a month at the founding rate instead of a second full tuition.

How many kids are in a class?

There is no cap on class size. Everyone hears the same idea live and each child works on their own thing. The only limited thing is the 10 founding seats at the founding rate.

Does S’Cool teach AI?

Yes, the way professionals use it: planning a shoot, drafting captions, tidying an edit, testing an idea. Craft comes first — students learn to see, shoot and cut themselves, and always say how a piece was made.

What will my child actually learn?

A real craft, in order: photography (framing, light, choosing the shot), video production (shot lists, filming, steady moves), editing and workflow (importing, selecting, colour, sound, exporting a finished file), then building a portfolio site with their own name on it, then what it takes to be paid for the work.

What do they have at the end of the year?

A portfolio at a real web address with their best photos and at least two finished videos, the habit of shooting and editing on a deadline, and a method they can repeat without us.

What if my child does not want to be a photographer?

Most will not be. Framing an idea, shooting it, editing it and presenting it is how a person builds a personal brand, sells what they make, or shows their work for school or a job. It is a skill they carry for life.

Does my child need a camera?

No. A phone or a camera — either one works.

Photography & Video is Thursdays at 12:00 PM ET (1 hour). S’Cool Studio is Mondays at 3:00 PM ET (1 hour). Same Zoom link, and every class is recorded.

Can we join after September 17?

Yes, at the start of any month. Recordings of earlier classes come with the account.

What does "locked for life" mean?

Your price stays the same as long as the account stays active. If you cancel and come back, you pay the price at that time.

What is the refund policy?

First-time families have 7 days from sign-up to cancel for a full refund. After that, charges are not refunded, and you can cancel any time to stop future charges.

My kid is shy. Will this work?

The camera can stay off at first. Nobody has to perform before they are ready, and every child works on their own thing.

Is this more screen time?

Photography and S’Cool Studio each run an hour. Most of the work happens outside, camera in hand.

Why S’Cool

A little letter from our family to yours.

To you, Mom and Dad,

We know the feeling.

You look at your child and you can already see it. The imagination. The curiosity. The ideas. The things they notice that nobody else seems to notice.

And you wonder, how do I help them turn all of that into something real?

We wondered the same thing.

We have traveled the world to explore ideas for home schooling, to make our family experiences fun, different, engaging, and tailored to our children’s needs, always looking for something that felt different. Something that would protect their creativity while actually teaching them useful skills for life.

We wanted a place where they could learn how to create, communicate, solve problems, use technology with purpose, tell stories, build ideas and become more confident in what they are capable of doing.

We could not find exactly what we were looking for.

So we created S’Cool.

Not because we believe everyone needs another class.

Because we believe young creative minds need a place where their ideas are taken seriously.

And now, this next part is for you.

You already have ideas.

Maybe you love taking pictures. Making videos. Drawing. Designing things. Starting little projects. Asking a million questions. Coming up with something nobody around you thought of.

That matters.

At S’Cool, we want to help you take what is already inside your head and learn how to make it real.

Italo Campilii

For 25+ years, Italo has specialized in photography, filmmaking, branding and entrepreneurship. He started his career with Apple and Google, and then co-founded Acromatico, Ecolosophy and MentorMe, a company built alongside a partner who previously served as Director of Education at Apple. His work has appeared on TV, including Staycation and The CW. Teaching has always been his passion, with decades of experience mentoring and educating. At S’Cool, he loves helping kids take an idea and turn it into something real.

Ale Campilii

Co-founder · Photographer · Director

Ale’s whole life has been decades of artistry, painting, photography, storytelling and design. For more than 20 years, she has specialized professionally in photography, post production and creative direction, photographing 200+ weddings, hundreds of portrait sessions, and commercial and editorial projects. As co-founder of Acromatico, she brings that same artistic eye into everything she creates. Her greatest gift is connecting with people and making them feel comfortable enough to be themselves. Teaching has always been her passion. At S’Cool, she loves helping kids slow down, notice more, trust their eye, connect with others and create work they are genuinely proud of.

Photography and art electives with a qualified instructor are an eligible Step Up purchase for many Florida families.

How it works: enroll and pay, then submit our itemized invoice (your child’s name, lesson dates and our instructor credentials) to Step Up for reimbursement from your scholarship funds. We send you every document they ask for.

What ages is S’Cool for?

Ages 9 to 16. Classes are live and mixed-age.

Do they need a camera?

No. A phone is fine — most of our kids use one. If you want to buy something, read the gear guide first.

When are classes?

When does the founding rate end?

The $160 founding rate for both classes holds for the first 10 families. Once those seats are taken it returns to $200 a month. A single class is $100 a month founding, then $125, and your price stays locked as long as your account stays active.
